I don’t know if you guys have ever seen the movie Garden State. It’s this particular scene that gets my guts pounding every time I see it. Zach Braff’s character, Andrew Largeman, encounters Carl, an old acquaintance from high school, who works at a hardware store.
Shortly after they are captured, Carl begins to give Large Man and his girlfriend some chance in the middle of the store. Carl was pitching in this really cheesy way that’s not only annoying but disgusting. “Why are it always the losers who get caught up in pyramid schemes?” A man’s comment it really hurts!
