The best way to learn about Bitcoin is to jump in and get some in your “pocket” to get a feel for how they work.
Despite speculation about how difficult and risky it can be, earning bitcoins is much easier and safer than you think. In many ways, it’s easier than opening an account at a traditional bank. And, given what’s going on in the banking system, it’s probably safer, too.
Some of the things to learn are: getting and using a software wallet, learning how to send and receive money, learning how to buy bitcoins from a person or an exchange.
Before you begin, you’ll need to get yourself a wallet. You can do this easily by registering with one of the exchanges that will host the wallet for you.
