What is Ethical Hacking??
Also known as intrusion testing or penetration testing, ethical hacking is a computer and network-based skill that detects vulnerabilities in IT systems and fixes them accordingly. Ethical hackers specialize in computer and networking algorithms. Such experts break into security systems on behalf of their owners to ensure that the system does not fall prey to malicious hackers.
Ethical hackers are used to enhance the security capability of a computer system to specifically prevent external threats from attacking it. With internet consumption skyrocketing worldwide, ethical hackers have become an essential workforce of any IT security industry today.
In the United States alone, ethical hacking was an estimated US$3.8 billion industry. It was also estimated that India would need around 77,000 ethical hackers every year. Sadly, the country currently produces only 15,000 such hackers a year.
No doubt, ethical hacking is on the rise…
